The Messina International Clarinet Competition is organized by Ente Autonomo Regionale Teatro di Messina.

The competition is open to clarinetists of both sexes and all nationalities born after January 1st, 1986.

This musical contest aims at popularizing the knowledge of wind instruments, at fostering musical culture through the encouragement and the enhancement of young instrumentalists and, at the same time, at promoting the artistic and cultural heritage of the places that host the competition.

Principal Clarinet Award

Cash prize worth € 4.000 plus a solo concert in the musical season (2022) of the Vittorio Emanuele Theater in Messina with the right to reimbursement of expenses only.

Bass Clarinet Award

Cash prize worth € 4.000 plus a solo concert in the musical season (2022) of the Vittorio Emanuele Theater in Messina with the right to reimbursement of expenses only.

How to register?

Registration applications must be completed on the appropriate online form on the website where it will be necessary to upload the signed paper form and the required video material no later than July 15, 2021.
